The Old City
Step back in time 2,000 years as you enter through the Damascus Gate and plunge into the myriad alleyways of the Old City. Visit the world renown Wailing Wall and Dome of the Rock and follow in the footsteps of Jesus along the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre - the site of Calvary.
You can also lose yourself in the quieter Armenian and Jewish Quarters where people go about their daily business in the shadows of history.
The New City
This is quite walkable from the modern Mamilla Mall where you can shop and eat to your heart's content..along bustling Jaffa Street to the iconic Mahane Yehuda Food Market which buzzes day and night with food stalls, bars and eateries.
Take the Light Railway to Yad Vashem and Mt. Herzl and the amazing Israel Museum on the outskirts of town.
Jerusalem is not just about history and religion - it's a vibrant and energetic city where Jerusalemites create a hip and dynamic vibe from food to nightlife to art and many forms of cultural expression. There is so much to experience and enjoy along the way.
