The Rothschild Hotel is a tribute to the famous philanthropist Baron Edmond de Rothschild, who we believe is entitled to the title of the country's first start-up entrepreneur. The concept of the hotel follows the famous Baron, from his residence in Paris to his activities in Israel. The hotel beautifully reflects Israeli culture, part of which was inspired by Rothschild's own French cultural influences. The design of the guest experience draws on all the senses to create a unique and total experience.
Entering the room is an intimate step, when you can open, look, peek, feel and touch without distraction. The floor tiling, in French parquet format, is made of cool stone - the way we like it in the hot Middle East. The black iron furniture with shiny brass details was inspired by the black iron gates of Parisian homes. Israeli artists converted the oak doors from the original building into paintings that depict the Baron's ventures. Each room has a different door featuring a unique painting. The night tables were inspired by Middle Eastern copper trays, and the light fixtures feature wine bottles that represent the glass and wine industry the Baron established in pre-state Israel. The hotel's thick towels create a rich physical sensation, and the sheets from Egyptian cotton satin offer a pampering and luxurious feel. These are just a few of the countless touches that create the Rothschild experience.
